Spiral pipes made of PE and PP have proven themselves for many years in tank and apparatus construction, as well as ventilation technology. FRANK provides high quality spiral pipes that ensure maximum safety for both installers and end customers.
FRANK spiral pipes are produced in a winding process according to DIN 16961. A homogeneous, plastified band is wound around an inner core (steel mandrel) and connected by overlapping. The steel mandrel guarantees that the inside diameter (DN) is the same in all sections, irrespective of the wall thickness or stress applied to the pipe. Wall thickness and graduation are designed and tailor-made to meet the specific operating conditions.
Spiral pipes are available from the thermoplastic materials PE 100, PE 100 RC, PP-R, PP-B and PP-H as well as the special materials PE-el, PPs and PPs-el. The materials used are characterized by good workability and good resistance to a variety of acids and bases, as well as other media.
Our high quality standard is documented by the National Technical Approval of the German Institute for Building Technology. What's more, the following points are externally monitored by Hessel Ingenieurtechnik:
