Check valves


Check valves prevent unintended emptying of pipes or containers. Check valves are installed directly behind the pumps in order to prevent back flow.
Our product range includes ball check valves, non-return valves with a free passage and wafer check valves, which can be used at low closing pressures by the means of return spring mechanism.

Ball check valve

This type is characterized by its manifold types of connection (coupling nut with inserts on both ends) and by its easy, tough and favourable flow design. Another advantage of this type of valve is the self- cleaning ball.

Special advantages can be seen here in the complete and free opening of cross-section for minimum pressure loss and also in the user-friendly opening for maintenance.

Wafer check valve

This inexpensive type has got a very short length. It is recommended to  use the wafer check valve with return spring for horizontal pipes and mount it directly after pumps. When the piping system is designed the decreased cross section and the space necessary for free disc opening have to be considered.
