FRANK PE Cable Protection System

FRANK Ecomiles protective piping systems are designed for underground cabling of high and extra- high voltage application up to 525 kV. Ecomiles pipes are resistent to service temperatures over 70 °C and are suited for trenchless installation methods. Their age-resistence and high durability not only add additional protection to the power cable but also ensure an effortless replacement even after well over 50 years of service life.

Electro socket fittings for cable protective applications for up to 525 kV

Our Electro socket fittings ensure a homogeneous connection of cable protection pipes. E-couplers are produced from the same high temperature resistant PE-material as cable protection pipes. The connection is made on the outside of the pipes and therefore does not cause any significant reduction to the internal cross section.

    Adapter-Couplers for cable protective applications up to 525 kV

    FRANK Adapter-Couplers were developed to connect cable protection pipes to different outer diameters and/or SDR-classes. The particularly low gradient of the centric reduction adapters ensures gentle pulling of the power cable. To connect longer pipe strings through the heated butt welding process we offer our Wall Integrated HS-Adapter. Because of the chamfered joining zones the inner bead does not have to be removed as it forms a wall-integrated inner bead, therefore not causing any reduction to the internal cross section.
