Robust butterfly valves for demanding applications
ASAHI plastic butterfly valves type 57 are robust valves for particularly demanding applications. They are corrosion-resistant and - thanks to the top flange dimensions in accordance with DIN EN ISO 5211 for automation and thanks to their relatively low weight - easy to handle. They are available from DN 40 - 350, in larger nominal sizes up to DN 600 we rely on butterfly valves type 56 and 75. All types are available with flanges according to DIN, ANSI or JIS.
Butterfly valves are characterized by their short overall length. The complete lining with high-quality elastomer materials ensures the performance of our butterfly valves and thus your process reliability in the plant. Due to the special design of the lining, a flange seal is not necessary; the butterfly valve seals itself against the flange. At the same time, the stainless steel shaft is hermetically separated from the medium. For special applications with extremely diffusing media, shafts made of special alloys such as Hastelloy are also available.
Our butterfly valves are available with a lockable hand lever that can be locked in 5° steps as standard, with constructive protection against jamming, or with corrosion-resistant plastic gears, on request also with chain wheel for adjustment for use in inaccessible places. Our plastic butterfly valves are robust valves for particularly demanding applications and have been able to hold their own for decades in metallurgy, chemistry, (drinking) water treatment and all other conceivable applications.
A wide range of available body and seal materials allows the selection of the optimum configuration for the respective application.
We also offer butterfly valves with pneumatic or electric actuators in our product range for all available nominal sizes.
End butterfly valve type 57L
We also supply plastic butterfly valves with VA threaded inserts. The (partially) removable long nuts require a directional pressure action for maintenance. This end butterfly valve enables simple and uncomplicated maintenance work on vessels, tanks and piping systems, without time-consuming draining.
