FRANK geothermal probes are made of high-quality PE 100-RC materials.
The geothermal probes are factory-welded and supplied pre-assembled to length as duplex probes (double U probes).
The probe base is permanently connected to the probe tube using specially developed automatic welding machines. A characteristic feature of the probe base is that it has been specially developed for geothermal applications as a molded component with flow deflection without cross-sectional constriction. This makes the probe piggable.
Welding of the probes is carried out by DVS-certified welders. An individual probe certificate is available for each probe on this homepage.
The geothermal probes are manufactured in compliance with SKZ guideline HR 3.26 (SKZ certificate no. A 466 / A 803) as factory-welded geothermal probes in accordance with VDI 4640, the welding is carried out in accordance with DVS guidelines and the marking of the pipes has a corresponding metre marking.
The probe base and the probe pipes are made of polyethylene PE 100-RC, black according to PAS 1075, SDR 11 or SDR 9. "RC" stands for Resistant to Crack. This material is approved for sand bed-free installation.
Production is externally monitored by MPA Darmstadt and IMA Dresden.
The FRANK duplex geothermal probes can be divided in just a few steps for use as single probes.
