We supply flow meters with floats, as well as flow sensors, flow monitors and flow transmitters based on the paddle wheel principle.
Flow meter are used for flow rate measurement of liquid and gaseous media in closed vertical pipelines. FRANK flow meter are radially expandable, fracture-proof and corrosion-resistant. On request we manufacture special scales for liquid as well as gaseous media - individually tailored to your requirements. With the use of magnetic floats and limit switch or measuring sensors, the measurement can additionally be integrated into control processes.
Flow sensors, flow monitors and flow transmitters based on the paddle wheel principle are used for flow measurement of liquid media in closed pipelines - both vertically and horizontally. This type of flow measurement provides particularly precise measured values when defined general conditions are present. In addition to the fittings, we also supply display and evaluation devices for a wide range of applications, e.g. for batch filling.
In every pipe system, a flow must also be measured - for this purpose, there are the most diverse options, all with their specific advantages. For example, our variable area flowmeters type M335 / 350 and M123 are equipped with a transparent measuring tube made of PSU, PA or PVC, which allows a clear view of the medium flowing through. The volume flow carries the float, which is specially adapted to the measuring range, upwards and one can read the actual volume flow on the double scale in percent and volume. Of course also with the possibility of limit contacts or in the case of the M335 and M350 series also with analog output signal. The maximum measuring range of these series is 60 000 l/h. These plastic flowmeters are often used for less complex applications, are cost-effective and do not require auxiliary power or complex peripheral equipment.
For applications where the task is more challenging, our type DF paddlewheelsensors are available. These are available with square-wave signal as well as with analog signal and can be integrated into common PLC systems. The available materials are PP, PVC, PVDF and ECTFE with EPDM, FKM and Kalrez® seals, covering an extremely wide range. These sensors can be found from the simple version in swimming pool technology with digital, battery operated local display up to the high - end device made of ECTFE with Kalrez seals with 4-20mA signal for the chemical process industry or in bet-bench applications. Due to special connection possibilities, there is also the option to integrate these sensors in lines made of PFA.
