ThermLine pressure pipes for cold local heating networks

Maximum safety!

FRANK ThermLine pressure pipes are designed for underground house connections and ring mains in cold local heating networks. Our high-quality ThermLine pipes and ThermLine Loop pipes are suitable for efficient heat transport due to their excellent thermal properties. In addition, they can be laid without a sand bed, are low in corrosion and incrustation and have an extremely long service life.

ThermLine loop
In order to save resources, the largest part - the core layer - of ThermLine loop pipes consists of pure PE 100 regranulate. We use new, high-quality PE 100-RC material for the thinner outer layer and the media-carrying inner layer.

PE 100-RC (ThermLine) Full Notch Creep Test

With the Full Notch Creep Test the resistance to slow crack growth is tested. According to PAS 1075, the PE 100-RC molding compounds have to achieve a service life of 8760 hours, which is almost 30 times longer than that of PE 100.

Properties of pipes and fittings made of PE 100 RC:

  • sand bed free installation
  • very high flexibility, thus easy and quick installation
  • low weight
  • increased operating pressures
  • cost-effective installation due to the use of electrofusion, butt and socket welding
  • weldable and thus permanently tight (no root ingrowth possible)
  • very extensive delivery program of pipes and fittings
  • easy processing
  • insensitive to pressure shocks
  • corrosion-free
  • low incrustation
  • very good resistance to abrasion
  • maintenance-free
  • long service life (> 50 years)
  • very high operational reliability

Made in Europe
