Drainagegitter

Drainage is the collection of precipitation water, groundwater and other liquids or gases over a wide area and their discharge in the plane of the drainage system. Civil engineering constructions in contact with soil should be permanently protected from the influence of groundwater, seepage water and rain water in order to prevent damage and defects in, for example, basement walls, supporting structures and bridge abutments. The filter element forms an element between the soil to be drained and the seepage system discharging the water. Besides horizontal and vertical surface drainage, these products are multifunctional and also satisfy the functions filtering, sealing and protection.

Installation on and around:

  • Basement walls
  • Retaining walls
  • Bridge abutments
  • Dams
  • Tunnels
  • Parking garages
  • Permeable paved areas
  • Green roofs
  • Sports fields

Drainage grids with high breaking and tearing strength

Drainage grids are manufactured as robust plastic grids from extruded high-density polyethylene (PEHD) and are nonwoven-laminated on one or both sides (geocomposite - "GCO"), depending on requirements. They are characterized by high breaking and tearing strength with minimal elongation. The drainage grids have a high compressive strength, with only slight reduction of the drainage capacity even at high loads. The in plane flow rate compares to an approx. 30 cm thick sand layer. The drainage grids meet the requirements of DIN 4095, and the two sides laminated variant also meets the requirements of Guideline Drawing Was 7 (Bridge Drainage) (RiZ Was 7) of the German Federal Highway Research Institute (BASt).

Drainage mats - 3-dimensional

Our drainage mat is a 3-dimensional mat made of a very void-rich open monofilament structure two sides nonwoven - laminated . The drainage mat also meets the requirements of DIN 4095 and the guideline drawing Was 7 (RiZ Was 7 of BASt).

Dimpled sheet - safe barrier resp. drainage

Dimpled sheets are geocomposite nonwoven laminated on one side. They have been used since a very long time for protection and drainage applications in building construction (e.g. in front of basement walls). Dimpled sheets are considered to be the standard solution as a safe barrier and/or for drainage of rising, seepage and back water. They are used as cleanliness layers and foundation wall protection sheets. They are suitable for both vertical and horizontal drainage and rear ventilation. Our dimpled sheets meet the requirements of DIN 4095.
